Maddie - Owner, General Manager

Hi! My name is Maddie. 

I grew up in New Prague, MN. I moved to Mankato to attend college and started working part-time at The Paw, which then turned into full-time and I worked there for just shy of 6 years. I took an interest in the Veterinary side of animal care in 2020, when I started going to school for my Vet Tech degree. I started working as a Vet Tech at the Waseca Vet Clinic the summer of 2021. I had always dreamed of running my own facility some day, so when the opportunity presented itself, we jumped right in!! 

My fiancé, Tristan, and I live on 5 acres outside of town with a small hobby farm. We have four dogs: Jasper, Benson, Harper (golden retrievers) & Athena (heeler mix), 7 cats (2 indoor, 5 outdoor), 6 goats, 5 ducks & 52 chickens. 

Hi! My name is Tanna. 

I grew up and currently live in Waterville, MN. I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I have always said I was going to find a career I enjoy doing and working at Camp Canine is the perfect opportunity for me! In my free time I enjoy going on walks, shopping, and spending time with family & friends. I have two dogs Mason and Marlie, who are my babies! They love to go on walks, car rides and get pup cups - only if they’re good!😉 I am very excited to be a part of Camp Canine’s team! 

Hi! My name is Sam!

I grew up in Waseca, MN. I’ve been working with animals since fall of 2019 after starting at the Waseca Vet Clinic with their dog & cat boarding until closing in June of 2024. I went to college at RCTC & graduated in spring of 2022 as a Vet Tech & have since worked in Owatonna & the Waseca Vet Clinic as one. I also work at Farmers Feed & Pet Supply in Owatonna in my free time. Working with animals has been something I thoroughly enjoy & I love the variety of personalities in each one! 

I have 2 Golden Retrievers (Jax & Saylor) & hope to have a farm with many more animals & species soon! 

Hello! My name is Amanda.

I grew up and graduated High School right here in Waseca, MN. Since my childhood, I knew I wanted a career working with animals. When the opportunity to spend my days with your pups came up, I jumped at the chance to be a part of something I am passionate about. Like Mark Twain said, “find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” 

My husband, Corie, and I currently live in Waseca with our two children, Carson and Brynlee. We have two dogs: Nitro (husky) and Tonks (pitbull mix), two cats: Yuki and Tanji, and a ball python!
